Recruitment: Administration Assistant

FemiliPNG Australia supports Femili PNG, and other in country partners to raise awareness, prevent, and respond to family and sexual violence (FSV) and sorcery accusation-related violence (SARV) in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

We are seeking an Administration Assistant to support our organisation, because we know that quality administrative support is vital to a smooth-running operation! As a part of our supportive team, you’ll play a crucial role in helping us make a difference. If you’re organised, enthusiastic, and ready to contribute to a great cause, we’d love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate has experience in:

  • Providing administration, human resources, logistics or procurement support to a small team
  • Working with non-government organisations and charities
  • Working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with office management software such as Trello, SharePoint and Dropbox.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has strong written and oral communication skills
  • Can work independently
  • Is committed to the values of FemiliPNG Australia
  • Has links with the Papua New Guinean / PNG Australian community
  • Can work effectively and flexibly as part of a diverse, geographically remote team
  • Can work to a deadline

Our recruitment timeline:

  • 23rd July: Short-listing process completed, all candidates contacted
  • 26th July: Interviews completed
  • 29th – 30th July: Reference checks completed
  • 30th July: Position offered to successful candidate
  • 5th August: Ideal starting date (negotiable with the successful candidate).
