On Sunday 7th April 2024, the FemiliPNG Australia team ran at the Canberra Times Marathon Festival! Together we’ve raised $35,041 so far to support services for survivors of family and sexual violence in PNG. We are extremely grateful to everyone who ran, walked, sponsored, or cheered on our #RunforFemiliPNG team.
A special thank you to:
- The Papua New Guinea High Commission for their support throughout the event, and for graciously hosting a morning tea for our runners after their races.
- The PNGDF for sponsoring the morning tea at the High Commission and putting together a team of runners.
- Sustineo for inviting the Femili PNG runners to join them at their monthly SIDER event for pre-race drinks at University House.
- The ADF Gender, Peace and Security directorate for fielding a team of runners to fundraise for us.
